A benchmark German Pinot Noir from the absolute master of the Baden region. Weingut Huber’s ‘Malterdinger’ Sp\u00e4tburgunder is grown on the exact same ancient shell limestone soils found in Burgundy’s C\u00f4te de Nuits, resulting in a wine of incredible elegance, tension, and finesse.<\/p>\n

In the glass, it pours a bright, translucent ruby red. Expect beautifully pure aromas of wild cherry, crushed raspberry, and a touch of forest floor, elegantly layered with subtle baking spices from masterful oak ageing. On the palate, it is highly energetic and beautifully structured, featuring very fine, silky tannins and a vibrant, fresh acidity.
