A cult favourite from the absolute queen of Sicilian natural wine. Named after the Strada Provinciale 68, the road that runs past her vineyards in Vittoria, this is a brilliant blend of Frappato (70%) and Nero d’Avola (30%). Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in concrete vats, it is crafted with zero interference to capture the pure, sun-drenched terroir of Sicily.<\/p>\n
In the glass, it pours a vibrant, translucent ruby. Expect highly energetic aromas of wild strawberry, sour cherry, and Mediterranean herbs, elegantly lifted by floral hints of rose and violet. On the palate, it is incredibly juicy, textural, and famously “smashable.” The bright, zesty acidity and very fine tannins make this a pure, thirst-quenching red that drinks beautifully, especially with a slight chill.<\/p>\n
