This is the flagship Riesling from the Kuhn family, bearing the name of their founding father, Jacobus. 100% selective, careful hand-picking. Gentle whole-bunch pressing over several hours. Spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts. Aging for 10 months on the full lees in large wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks. An elegant dry Riesling with lemon sherbet tones and a great deal of fresh green apple and juicy apricot.
